Tremendous asset to my laboratory in helping us move new therapeutic approaches into clinical practice

This is a letter of support for my colleague Dr. Donese Worden. I have known Dr. Worden for over 4 years now and am quite familiar with her role as a leader in integrative medicine, so I am happy to have the opportunity to comment on her abilities and contributions. As a research scientist and Associate Professor at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, I have always been impressed with Dr. Worden’s integrity and understanding of the latest scientific research to guide her own clinical research and personalized patient care.

In addition to her clinical practice and research, Dr. Worden is a prolific educator through a variety of media, workshops and conferences. I have attended several conferences and workshops with Dr. Worden and have been impressed with her presentations and ability to absorb and understand new research and innovative technologies.  Dr. Worden approaches new technologies and ideas with skepticism and will frequently reach out to leading researchers in the field to discuss the topic to determine the clinical implications for patients.  She is a master networker bringing together experts with specialized expertise in medicine, academia and industry to tackle particular topics relevant to health care.  She is always asking questions to grasp the science behind specific therapies or integrative approaches. Dr. Worden is very well respected and is known for her high level of integrity when it comes to patient care and to nutraceutical ingredients. On a personal level, she very enthusiastic and compassionate and has always been very generous with her time in helping to educate others. Dr. Worden has been a tremendous asset to my laboratory in helping us move new therapeutic approaches into clinical practice.

Based on her clinical expertise and tremendous track record and integrity in the field, I would strongly support Dr. Worden for a position requiring a high level of expertise in research, patient care and education.  Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

Best regards,
